NW GA Senior Living Expo A Success!!!
THe Elder Abuse Team hosted the Senior Living Expo on September 22nd at the Walker County Civic Center. An estimated 175 participants received legal information, services information, were entertained by senior musicians, bought crafts from senior artisans and ate delicious food! Team member and event chair, Bobbie Allison-Standefer (Allison Insurance/Allison Senior Advising) was thankful to all the Team members, volunteers and vendors for making the event so successful. The Team plans on making this an annual event to aid seniors and caregivers in understanding their rights, the services available, and how to live healthy as a senior.
